The catamaran, the crew and the ship's cat

New Life Catamaran operates a Lagoon 450 S based at Marina Fort Louis in Marigot. It carries six guests maximum on private trips, always with a professional bilingual skipper and a hostess on board.

A stable boat, built for taking it easy

Two hulls means very little roll: a catamaran is the most comfortable boat for a day at sea with children or anyone prone to seasickness. The living areas are wide open and shaded.

The cat lives on board

Our cat has been part of the crew since day one. He sleeps in the shade, comes to greet guests, then wanders off for another nap. You are welcome to stroke him if he comes to you. Do tell us about any allergy when you request your quote: we prepare the boat accordingly.

Crew and certifications

Three people are with you on every trip: the owner, a professional skipper and a hostess. Bareboat charter is never offered.

Eric, the owner, on board every trip

Eric owns New Life Catamaran and comes aboard on every trip: he welcomes you and makes sure the day runs the way it should. The sailing itself is in the hands of a professional skipper holding the Brevet 200 licence, alongside a hostess looking after service on board. The skipper and hostess may change from one booking to the next; all of them speak French and English and know the anchorages of St Martin, Anguilla and Tintamarre.

  • Professional skipper holding the Brevet 200 (200 GT sail master)
  • Level 1 medical care certification (CFBS)
  • Hostess on board for welcome and service
  • Boat compliant with safety standards and covered by passenger insurance
